Your piercer
Every piercing at Living Art is performed or personally overseen by Roshan Rodrigo. We mark the placement, check it with you in the mirror and only pierce when it is exactly right for your anatomy.
We pierce with single-use sterile needles, never a piercing gun, for a cleaner piercing that heals faster.

Jewellery
What goes into a fresh piercing matters more than anything else. We use only body-safe metals, chosen with you at the consultation.
Method

We look at your anatomy, talk through placement and choose the jewellery together.
ii.
Placement is marked and checked with you in the mirror until it is right.
iii.
A single-use needle opened in front of you. Never a gun.
iv.
Written aftercare and a check-in when it is time to downsize or upgrade.
Questions
Never. Guns cannot be properly sterilised and push blunt studs through the skin. We use single-use hollow needles, which heal faster and cleaner.
Clients under 18 need a parent or guardian present with photo ID, and some piercings are for adults only.
Lobes take around six to eight weeks; cartilage and body piercings can take six months or more. We will give you a realistic timeline.
For a fresh piercing we only use our own implant-grade jewellery. Once healed, we are happy to fit pieces you bring if they are body-safe.
